The last two months have been spent putting my new site on handmade jewelry. This site showcases and sells a variety of handmade rings, necklaces, pendants and my favourate pieces of snake jewelry. Although I have no plans to retire any time soon as a jewelry maker, it's a good way to unwind in my beautiful studio after a hard day of sitting in front of my PC.

Its amazing how much time can go into the actual hands-on part of the web site buiding process. Its taken about  two weeks just to photograph the jewelry itself, and another two weeks just to come up with a suitable web template for the silos and pages.

The valuable learnings for me are that every online project you take on is going to be different than the last and may require a whole bunch of new core skills in order for it to work properly.
